In the shadows of Scotts Bluff, Nebraska, USA, at the base of the 19th century historic landmark on the Oregon Trail and Mormon Pioneer Trail of Scotts Bluff National Monument, lies the prestigious 18 hole municipal, Monument Shadows Golf Course.

Monument Shadows Golf Course first opened in 1930 and was remodelled on the same hilly rock terrain in 1976 by non-other than the iconic Patrick H. Wyss. Holes 2 through 8 were once part of the original 9-hole layout with wide, straight, tree-lined fairways. The fairways lead to medium sized greens that have subtle built-in breaks.

Monument Shadows Golf Course is a championship regulation length golf course open to the general public. It boasts a series of 18 parkland holes featuring undulating lush green fairways with multiple sets of tees for a maximum of 72 pars. Monument Shadows GC also offers a spectacular combination of scenic views and fast undulating greens all designed to test and marvel the everyday golfer.
