PGA West, Greg Norman Course is a fairly young golf course. It opened for play in May in the year 2000. It was designed by Australian national and premier signature golf course designer Gregory John Norman (Greg Norman).

Greg Norman Course was designed with the highest possible values of creativity, innovation, and sustainability of this era. It is set within the elegantly framed PGA WEST Resort, offering one of the finest modern golf architectural designs with tight fairways. It displays a rare combination of classic desert layout and contemporary modern golf course sculpture.
