Willunga Golf Club

The Willunga Golf Club is a semi-public golf course establishment owned by the Onkaparinga council. It is situated in the small country town of Willunga in the heart of the Fleurieu Peninsula with in the City of Onkaparinga local municipality area, south of Adelaide in South Australia.

The course boasts some of the best picturesque views of the McLaren Vale wine region. The greens offer a real test of putting skills while the narrow, justly guarded fairways keep the possibility of losing your ball on every turn an ever present reality. There are bits of water and lots of trees that border the course. All these course hazards are well-placed but aren’t too difficult to avoid while at the same time they aren’t too easy to escape, making the Willunga Golf Club an excellent golf testing Centre.

The entire 9-hole course is magnificently well tended, with two different teeing sets per hole. The multiple teeing positions ensure a notable choice of play that can compensate for a standard 18-hole round. Due to its close proximity to sea, Willunga Golf course’s weather is over-all moderate with long warm days and short cool nights during December through April and rarely experiences weather extremes like frost and drought.
